Verify before acting

Public datasets can be delayed, incomplete, modelled, incorrectly mapped or temporarily unavailable. Visit places and verify property, transport, healthcare, school, planning, environmental and legal facts with the relevant authority or professional before moving or spending money.

Crime information

Crime values may be raw incidents within an approximate search radius or statistics for a broader official area. They are not forecasts, personal-risk assessments or directly comparable league-table scores across different national publication systems.

Population information

Population composition is neutral census context. It is never used to infer criminality, safety, compatibility, worth or desirability and is excluded from finder ordering and comparisons.

Distances and services

Mapped facilities may have closed, moved or been omitted. Straight-line distance is not travel time. Routing can change and may not reflect road closures, live traffic, accessibility needs, timetables or emergency response.

Water and natural hazards

Mapped water features and drinking-water points do not establish access rights, seasonal availability, water quality or potability. Feature-centre distance is not necessarily shoreline distance. Proximity to water and modelled elevation do not establish flood or disaster risk; check the linked official property-level maps and current warnings.

Resilience guidance

The resilience hub is educational and is not engineering, electrical, medical, legal or emergency-service advice. Use competent professionals for fixed electrical, solar, battery, structural, drinking-water and combustion systems, and follow local authorities and emergency services.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site or its providers, automate excessive requests, attempt unauthorised access or use the information to target, harass or discriminate against people or communities.
